NORMA RAUSCHER
Club Las Amigas lost a wonderful member and person.
Norma passed away on November 13.
She was a very active member who cheerfully helped out wherever she was needed.
One of the friendlier members, she was always cordial and made new members feel at home.
Many of you followed the updates on Norma's last days on Caring Bridge.
This was the response from Norma when asked about a memorial service:
“I don’t want anyone to take the day off of work, wear black itchy clothes and be sad.”
From her family:
She would want us to celebrate her life, how she lived it.
So we kindly ask that you go out into the world and create your own celebration that honors her character and your unique relationship.
For example, in her memory you could…
Raise a glass over a special meal and say her name
Take a walk along the ocean with a good friend or pet
Make of cup of tea with milk and chat with a loved one over the little things
Play cards or pickle ball with lifelong friends
Volunteer or donate to an organization that you love or she loved
Jump on a ‘pay it forward’ moment
Plant some white daisies or have a bowl of them on a table
Gather with friends…dance…laugh
